🧸💉 The Health Careers I and EMT students from CTE hosted a HuG & HeaL Clinic for the 2nd graders at Laura B. Anderson Elementary! Our students became “doctors for the day,” giving checkups to stuffed animals—complete with stethoscopes, otoscopes, bandages, and lots of care. 💗 Every stuffie left with a diagnosis and a prescription for more snuggles, snacks, or movie time! 🎬🍿 This was a wonderful way to give elementary students a fun, positive medical experience while giving our CTE students hands-on practice communicating with littles. 🎉 Congratulations to our 2025 AOF Scholarship Recipients! 🎉 💼 Jorge Huete – $500 AOF Scholarship Jorge will be attending USD to study Business! His commitment and passion for the AOF program have been outstanding. 🏆 Ruby Brunken – $500 Wayne Rasmussen Scholarship Ruby will be heading to STC to pursue Human Resources! It’s also our honor to present the Wayne Rasmussen Scholarship—a $500 award given to an AOF student who embodies leadership, dedication, and enthusiasm for the program. Named after Wayne Rasmussen, former Citibank PR Manager, SDSU alum, and NFL defensive back for the Detroit Lions (1964–1973), this scholarship honors his legacy of education, leadership, and community. 📈💰 Congrats to our CTE Academy students for earning 2nd place at the 2025 Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge!
