WHS Students: Semester tests are coming! If your Chromebook is not working or needs repair, please see Tyler in the Student Services office ASAP so it can be repaired prior to testing.

Competitive Cheer and Sideline Football Cheer tryouts for WHS will be held May 12, 13 and 14 from 3:45pm-5:30pm in D114. Make sure you have all the appropriate paperwork turned in before tryouts.

On Friday, Promising Futures Fund donated bagels for the staff at WHS in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you for your generous and delicious donation!


On Thursday, WHS staff was treated to breakfast pizza, courtesy of WHS Administration for Teacher Appreciation Week. Yum!


In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, our own Best Buddies group provided coffee and dirty sodas for the WHS staff on Wednesday.


SDSU Ice Cream donated 4 flavors of ice cream to share with Washington teachers and staff on Tuesday in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. Thanks for your delicious donation!

WHS National Honor Society will meet in the library on Wednesday, April 30th at 7:30 am.

The 2025 Grand March for Prom will be held on Saturday, April 26th at 4:30pm in the WHS Auditorium. The event is free for prom attendees and $7 at the door for spectators.

WHS Teachers were challenged to use limited technology in their classrooms today in connection with the WHS Screen Time Challenge that took place this past week. Mr. Haddican participated by dusting off the old school overhead projector to use in his class today. Way to go Mr. Haddican!


WHS Student Council will be selling brownie sundaes on Wednesday, April 16th during lunch in the commons. Cost is $2 each.


WHS Prom tickets are on sale now through Friday, April 25 during Warrior Halftime in the commons. Tickets are $25 each. Also a reminder that if you are bringing a non-WHS guest to prom, your guest form is DUE BY Thursday, April 17.

WHS Seniors: A reminder that if you are bringing a non-WHS guest to prom, you must turn in your guest form by Thursday, April 17! Forms are available in the Student Services office.

WHS Seniors: If you would like to give a speech at graduation, pick up a information sheet explaining the requirements in Student Services. Speeches will need to be submitted by Tuesday, April 22nd to Mrs. Nieuwsma or Mrs. Nichols. Auditions for speeches will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd at 7:00 AM in the Little Theatre.

WHS Students, JROTC will be offering you a chance for you to experience military rations, MREs or Meals Ready to Eat, during 4A and 4B lunch this Friday, April 11th. No sign up is necessary. Just stop at the table in front of Student Services.


There will be a meeting for any boys interested in boys' basketball on Friday, April 11 at 7:45 AM in the main gym. Information will be provided for the remainder of the spring as well as summer opportunities. See Coach Tobin with any questions.

Attention all Seniors planning on joining the National Guard or Active Duty Military: We want to recognize you! Please stop by the Counseling Office to get more information and to sign up for the Military Signing Day, taking place on May 7th at 3:30 PM.
