WHS staff & students have accepted the Screentime Challenge to reduce their minutes by 40,000 April 21st - 28th. Last year WHS reduced their time by 55,604 minutes. Let's go Warriors!!!

WHS will be celebrating students during Honorfest on Wednesday, April 27th from 8:40am - 10:40am. The CTE schedule will stay the same.
Washington High School Grand March will be held in the WHS auditorium Saturday, April 23rd at 4:30 PM. Tickets for adults are $5.00

Mark your calendars! The last day of school will be Wednesday, May 25th, 2022.
The Sioux Falls School Board approved a recommendation at their meeting tonight to move the last day of school from Tuesday, May 24, 2022 to Wednesday, May 25, 2022 due to the one day of school missed for inclement weather in December.
Jostens will be at WHS delivering caps and gowns for seniors on April 20th. Don't forget to pick yours up!
Seniors, want to speak at graduation? If so, please submit your speeches by Thursday, April 28th. Auditions will be held in the Little Theater at 7AM on Friday, April 29th.

Congratulations to Ndjakalenga Mwenentanda who was named the 2021-22 Gatorade South Dakota Girls Basketball Player of the Year! Mwenentanda is the first Gatorade South Dakota Basketball Players of the Year to be chosen from Washington High School.
Congratulations to WHS senior Hannah Dayaget for winning the state Poetry Out Loud competition!! Hannah will move on to the semi finals and compete against 54 others on May 1st.
